January 2025 – Call Forth a Fox was selected for the American Library Association’s 2025 Rainbow Book List, a compilation of quality books celebrating LGBTQIA+ youth and families.

Out of 550 titles assessed by the committee, over 175 made the final list. All titles were released between July 1, 2023, and December 31, 2024.

August 6, 2024 – The Ukrainian edition of Call Forth a Fox, translated by Anna Kravchuk, will release in September 2024 from Laboratory.

July 27, 2024 – See me at this year’s YA Midwest in Naperville, IL, a book fest featuring more than 30 YA authors! I’ll be participating in panels then signing books. Find more info and purchase tickets for $20 here.

April 2, 2024 – I’m launching Call Forth a Fox at my local indie Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, IL on Tuesday, April 2. I’ll be in conversation with the incredible Laura Ruby, author of Bone Gap and Thirteen Doorways, Wolves Behind Them All.

The event is ticketed, so pre-registration is required. Your ticket includes admission along with a copy of the book. There will be a signing/photo line and lots of swag. Hope to see you there!

NOVEMBER 2023 – The cover for Call Forth a Fox is now live! Designed by Laura Benton and illustrated by Gaby Verdooren, the gorgeous art showcases some of the novel’s main characters, including protagonist Ro and her sister, Eirwyn.

June 2023 – Page Street YA will publish my debut YA novel, Call Forth a Fox, on April 2, 2024. The story is a sapphic twist on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale “Snow White and Rose Red.”
